If you have travelled to China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan,
Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea etc in the past 14 days and have
symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat or breathing difficulties, please
avoid contact with other people. Do not go into crowded places, or take
public transport.
You should not go to your GP. General practices are not equipped to handle
a case of this virus.
If you are unwell, you can phone your GP, or your nearest hospital
emergency department, or phone the HealthDirect Helpline on 1800 022 222 for advice.
If you have a suspected coronavirus, you will require specialised
investigation, isolation and treatment in a public hospital.
